Ingredients

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz cachaça

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz tequila blanco

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 22.5 ml 2/3 fl oz triple sec or orange liqueur

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz simple syrup

  • Ice cubes

  • Lime wedge and salt for garnish

Instructions

  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into salt to create a salted rim. Set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the cachaça, tequila blanco, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker, then shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Add a lime wedge on the rim for garnish.
