Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz Tomato juice

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz Vodka

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Dry vermouth

  • 10 ml 1/3 fl oz Lemon juice

  • 3 dashes 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 dashes 2 dashes Hot sauce

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Celery salt

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch Freshly ground black pepper

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Martini glass
  • Bar spoon

Instructions

  • Place your martini glass in the freezer to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tomato juice, vodka, dry vermouth, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, and black pepper.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Take your chilled martini glass from the freezer and strain the mixture into the glass using a Hawthorne strainer.
  • Optionally, garnish with a celery stick, lemon twist, or a cherry tomato for a pop of color.

Notes

  • If you prefer a spicier kick, feel free to increase the amount of hot sauce to your liking.
