45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz Angostura bitters
22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz orgeat syrup
22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz fresh lemon juice
15 ml 1/2 fl oz rye whiskey

Instructions
- Chill your glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water for a few minutes.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the Angostura bitters, orgeat syrup, fresh lemon juice, and rye whiskey.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into your chilled glass (you can serve it either up in a coupe glass or over ice in a rocks glass).
- Garnish is optional, but a lemon twist can add a nice touch if desired.
