  • 60 ml 2 fl oz tequila silver

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz fresh lime juice

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz simple syrup

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Coupe or martini glass

Instructions

  • Place your coupe or martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
  • Add tequila, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake the mixture for about 15-20 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch.
  • Remove the glass from the freezer or discard the ice, then strain the cocktail into the chilled glass using a fine strainer.
  • Optionally, garnish with a lime wheel or a twist of lime peel for a touch of elegance.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, use agave syrup instead of simple syrup to enhance the tequila’s natural sweetness.
