Ingredients

  • For the Syrup:
  • 250 ml 1 cup water

  • 200 g 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 100 g 1/2 cup Sweet Tart candies (color or color combination of your choice, here we’ve chosen blue)

  • For the Shot:
  • 30 ml 1 fl oz Vodka

  • 15 ml 1/4 fl oz Sweet Tart syrup

  • Sanding sugar for rimming the glass (optional)

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Shot Glass
  • Saucepan

Instructions

  • Make the Syrup:
  • Combine water, sugar, and Sweet Tart candies in a saucepan.
  • Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes until thickened.
  • Cool completely before use.
  • Prepare the Shot:
  • Rim the shot glass with sanding sugar if desired.
  • In a shaker filled with ice, combine vodka and Sweet Tart syrup.
  • Shake well and strain into the prepared shot glass.

Notes

  • The syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a month.
