Ingredients
60 ml 2 fl oz Bourbon
2 2 Fresh Strawberries
15 ml 1/2 fl oz Strawberry Simple Syrup
2 dashes 2 dashes Strawberry Bitters
Ice

Instructions
- Place the quartered strawberries in the bottom of the Old Fashioned glass. Add the strawberry simple syrup and muddle gently until the strawberries are crushed and the juices are released.
- Add 2-3 dashes of strawberry bitters to the muddled strawberries and syrup, stirring briefly to combine.
- Add the bourbon to the glass. Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
- Drop a large ice cube into the glass, then stir again for about 10-15 seconds to chill the drink and slightly dilute the alcohol.
- If desired, add a slice of strawberry for an extra touch of freshness.
Notes
- For an even richer strawberry flavor, you can prepare a strawberry-infused bourbon in advance by soaking fresh strawberries in bourbon for a few days. This will intensify the fruitiness in your cocktail without needing to muddle the fruit each time.
