Ingredients

  • Strawberry Layer:
  • 4 4 Strawberries

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz White Rum

  • 10 ml 1/3 fl oz Lime Juice

  • 7.5 ml 1/4 fl oz Simple Syrup

  • 120 ml 1/2 cup Ice

  • Mango Layer:
  • 1/2 1/2 Mango

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz White Rum

  • 10 ml 1/3 fl oz Lime Juice

  • 7.5 ml 1/4 fl oz Simple Syrup

  • 120 ml 1/2 cup Ice

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Jigger
  • Coupe Glass

Instructions

  • Blend the strawberries, white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice until smooth. Pour the strawberry mixture into the bottom of a chilled glass.
  • Quickly rinse the blender to remove any remaining strawberry mixture.
  • Blend the mango, white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice until smooth.
  • Slowly pour the mango mixture over the back of a spoon, holding the spoon close to the surface of the strawberry layer to prevent mixing the colors.
  • Serve immediately without stirring to maintain the layered effect.
  • Add a strawberry slice or a small mango wedge on the rim of the glass for an elegant touch.

Notes

  • For an extra frosty drink, use frozen strawberries and mango.
