Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz white rum

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz coconut cream

  • 90 ml 2 7/8 fl oz pineapple juice

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz fresh strawberry purée

  • Fresh strawberries and pineapple slices, for garnish

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Jigger
  • Hurricane glass

Instructions

  • Wash and hull the fresh strawberries. Blend them into a purée using a blender. You may strain the purée if you prefer a smoother consistency.
  •  In a blender, combine the white rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice and strawberry purée. Add a handful of ice cubes.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. The texture should be thick but pourable.
  • Pour the Strawberry Colada into a chilled hurricane glass.
  • Decorate with fresh strawberries and pineapple slices on the rim of the glass and serve.
