Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz White Rum

  • 6 6 Fresh Strawberries

  • 1/2 1/2 Ripe Banana

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Fresh Lime Juice

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Simple Syrup

  • 240 ml 1 cup Ice

  • Blender
  • Jigger
  • Highball glass

Instructions

  • Hull the strawberries and slice the banana into chunks.
  • Combine the strawberries, banana, white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice in the blender.
  • Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a bit more ice or a splash of water.
  • Taste the daiquiri and add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter drink.
  • Pour the blended daiquiri into a hurricane or daiquiri glass. Garnish with a fresh strawberry or a slice of banana on the rim for an extra touch.

Notes

  • If fresh strawberries or bananas aren’t available, you can use frozen fruit. This will also give your daiquiri a thicker, more smoothie-like consistency.
