Ingredients

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz Whiskey rye

  • 25 ml 6/7 fl oz Dry Vermouth

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Lemon Juice

  • 10 ml 1/3 fl oz Grenadine

  • 2 dashes 2 dashes Orange Bitters

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Coupe glass

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice to chill it.
  • Using a jigger, measure and add whiskey, dry vermouth, lemon juice, grenadine and 2 dashes of orange bitters into the shaker.
  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. This ensures the ingredients are well-mixed and chilled.
  • Use a strainer to pour the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
  • Optional, but you can garnish with a twist of lemon peel or a cherry for an extra touch of elegance.

Notes

  • Adjust the grenadine and lemon juice according to your taste preferences. A touch more lemon juice can make your cocktail more refreshing, while a bit more grenadine adds sweetness.
