45 ml 45 Gin
15 ml 15 Fresh Lemon Juice
15 ml 15 Passion Fruit Syrup
10 ml 10 Orgeat Syrup
10 ml 10 Falernum
Equipment
- Cocktail shaker
- Jigger
- Hawthorne strainer
- Rock glass
- Citrus press
Instructions
- Juice your lemon and measure all the liquid ingredients using a jigger.
- Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Secure the lid on your shaker and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosty.
- Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled Rock glass or tiki mug filled with fresh ice.
- Twist a strip of lime peel around a cherry and place it on top of the drink for a decorative touch.
Notes
- Orgeat syrup is a sweet syrup made from almonds, sugar, and rose or orange flower water, adding a unique nutty flavor to the cocktail. If you don’t have falernum, a spiced syrup, you can substitute with a dash of simple syrup and a touch of allspice for a similar effect.
