Raspberry Lemon Drop Cocktail Recipe

The raspberry lemon drop takes the classic vodka cocktail and adds a fruity, vibrant twist that’s perfect for warm evenings or special occasions. This version balances tart lemon juice with sweet raspberry liqueur, creating a drink that’s both refreshing and visually stunning without requiring complicated prep work.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz vodka

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz raspberry liqueur (Chambord or similar)

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz fresh lemon juice

  • 15 ml 1/4 fl oz triple sec

  • Ice cubes

  • 3 3 fresh raspberries (for garnish)

  • Sugar (for rim, optional)

  • Lemon wheel (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Coupe glass

Instructions

  • Chill your martini glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes before making the cocktail. A cold glass keeps the drink crisp.
  • If you want a sugar rim, run a lemon wedge around the rim of your chilled glass and dip it into a shallow dish of sugar. Set aside.
  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the vodka, raspberry liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and triple sec.
  • Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold and slightly frosted. This properly chills and dilutes the cocktail.
  • Strain the cocktail into your prepared glass using a Hawthorne strainer. The drink should have a beautiful pink hue.
  • Drop 2 to 3 fresh raspberries into the glass and place a lemon wheel on the rim. Serve immediately.
