Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz bourbon or rye whiskey

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz pomegranate juice

  • 7.5 ml 1/4 fl oz simple syrup

  • 2 dashes 2 dashes Angostura bitters

  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish

  • Strainer
  • Old Fashioned glass

Instructions

  • Add the pomegranate juice, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters to your mixing glass.
  • Pour in the bourbon or rye whiskey.
  • Use a bar spoon to stir the mixture for about 20 seconds, ensuring it’s well chilled and diluted.
  • Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass filled with a large ice cube or a few smaller cubes.
