Ingredients

  • 22.5 ml 2/3 fl oz crème de noyaux liqueur

  • 22.5 ml 2/3 fl oz white crème de cacao liqueur

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz heavy cream

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Coupe glass

Instructions

  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Pour the crème de noyaux, white crème de cacao, and heavy cream into the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to ensure all ingredients are well combined and chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into your chilled cocktail glass.
  • Optional: Garnish with a light dusting of freshly grated nutmeg on top.

Notes

  • For a creamier, more indulgent version of this cocktail, you can substitute the heavy cream with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was actually how the drink was originally made, creating a boozy milkshake-like consistency. If you choose this option, blend all ingredients with the ice cream instead of shaking with ice.
