  • 30 ml 1 fl oz White Vermouth (Bianco)

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz Suze or other white bitters

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Old fashioned glass

Instructions

  • Optionally, chill your old fashioned glass in the freezer for a few minutes.
  • Fill an old fashioned glass with ice cubes.
  • Using a jigger, add dry gin, white vermouth, Suze or other white bitters into the glass.
  • Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for about 20-30 seconds to ensure everything is well-mixed and chilled.
  • Twist an orange peel over the glass to release its oils, then drop it into the drink for a touch of citrus aroma.

Notes

  • Different brands of white vermouth can have varying levels of sweetness and herbal notes. Feel free to experiment with different brands to find your perfect balance.
