Ingredients

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz Mezcal

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz Aperol

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz Yellow Chartreuse

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz Fresh lime juice

  • Ice cubes

  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Coupe glass
  • Citrus press
  • Fine mesh strainer

Instructions

  • Place your coupe glass in the freezer while you prepare the cocktail.
  • Measure out mezcal, Aperol, Yellow Chartreuse, and freshly squeezed lime juice using a jigger.
  • Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Double strain (use both a strainer and a fine mesh strainer) into the chilled glass to ensure a smooth, ice-free pour.

Notes

  • Use a mezcal with a moderate smokiness to complement but not overpower the cocktail.
