Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz watermelon schnapps

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz tequila

  • 30 ml 2/3 fl oz watermelon juice

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz lime juice

  • 1 dash 1 dash hot sauce

  • Tajín seasoning

  • Watermelon slice or candy

  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Moisten the rim of your cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip it into Tajín seasoning to coat the rim evenly.
  • In a shaker, combine the watermelon schnapps, tequila, watermelon juice, lime juice, and hot sauce. Add ice cubes to the shaker.
  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to thoroughly mix and chill the ingredients.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass over fresh ice.
  • Decorate with a watermelon slice or a piece of Mexican candy on the rim.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of hot sauce to suit your personal spice preference. If you enjoy more heat, a couple of extra dashes can add a fiery kick to your drink.
