Ingredients

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz white rum

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz orange curaçao

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz fresh lime juice

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz orgeat syrup

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz dark rum

  • lime wheel and mint sprig

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Highball glass

Instructions

  • Fill your shaker with ice cubes.
  • Add the white rum, orange curaçao, fresh lime juice, and orgeat syrup into the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously to ensure all ingredients are well mixed.
  • Strain the mixture into a highball or Old Fashioned glass over fresh ice.
  • Gently float the dark rum on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and a mint sprig if desired.
