Ingredients

  • 90 ml 3 fl oz Prosecco

  • 90 ml 3 fl oz Aperol

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz soda water

  • A slice of orange

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Wine glass
  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon

Instructions

  • Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill it. Use a generous amount of ice, as it helps to keep the drink refreshingly cold.
  • Measure Aperol using the jigger and pour it into the glass.
  • Slowly add Prosecco to the glass, allowing the bubbles to form without overflowing.
  • Gently top the drink with soda water.
  • Use the bar spoon to lightly stir the ingredients together without dissipating the bubbles. Garnish with a slice of orange on the rim of the glass or inside the drink.

Notes

  • For an aromatic touch, gently squeeze the orange slice over the drink to release its oils before dropping it in.
