Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz Gin

  • 120 ml 4 fl oz Freshly Squeezed Pink or Red Grapefruit Juice

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz Aperol or Campari Liqueur

  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon Fresh Chopped Rosemary

  • 50 g 1/4 cup Sugar

  • 1 1 Fresh Rosemary Sprig, for garnish

  • Ice Cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Hawthorne Strainer
  • Collins Glass

Instructions

  • Mix the fresh chopped rosmary with the sugar.
  • Pour the sugar onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of a Collins glass with grapefruit juice or water and dip it into the sugar and fresh chopped rosemary to coat the rim. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Using the jigger, measure and pour gin, freshly squeezed pink or red grapefruit juice, and Aperol or Campari into the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Use the Hawthorne strainer to strain the mixture into the prepared Collins glass.
  • Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add a splash of simple syrup.
