60 ml 2 fl oz Gin
15 ml 1/2 fl oz Dry vermouth
Ice cubes
lemon twist or olive for garnish

Hawthorne strainer

Martini glass
Instructions
- Place your martini glass in the freezer for a few minutes, or fill it with ice and water while you prepare the cocktail.
- In a mixing glass, add gin and dry vermouth. Fill with ice.
- Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for 30 seconds to chill and combine the ingredients.
- Discard the ice from your martini glass and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
- Add an olive or a twist of lemon peel for an aromatic finish.
