Ingredients

  • 150 g 1 cup Fresh watermelon cubes

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz White rum

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Fresh lime juice

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Simple syrup

  • 150 g 5/8 cup Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Coupe glass
  • Fine mesh strainer

Instructions

  • Add the fresh watermelon cubes to a blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp.
  • In the blender, combine the watermelon puree, white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice cubes. Blend until well combined and frothy.
  • Pour the mixture into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a small watermelon wedge or a lime wheel for an extra pop of color.

Notes

  • For an even more refreshing twist, freeze the watermelon cubes before blending. This eliminates the need for extra ice, resulting in a more flavorful and less diluted drink.
