Frozen Margarita Cocktail Recipe

The frozen margarita stands as a refreshing testament to cocktail innovation, a frosty transformation of Mexico’s classic lime and tequila combination. First appearing in the 1950s when restaurateur Mariano Martinez adapted the traditional margarita for his Dallas customers, this blended version quickly became a summer staple across America. What makes a proper frozen margarita special isn’t excessive sweetness, but the perfect balance of quality tequila, bright citrus, and just enough sweetener to create that signature smooth, icy texture that feels like an instant vacation.
