  • 10 ml 1/3 fl oz fassionola syrup

  • 1 dash 1 dash Angostura bitters

  • 1 dash 1 dash absinthe

  • Crushed ice

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Jigger
  • Tiki mug or highball glass

Instructions

  • Measure out the dark rum, 151-proof rum, lime juice, falernum, orange juice, fassionola syrup, Angostura bitters, and absinthe.
  • Add all the ingredients, including 1 cup of crushed ice, to your blender.
  • Blend on high for about 10-15 seconds until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a Tiki mug or highball glass.
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint, an orange slice, or a lime wheel for a colorful, tropical look.

Notes

  • If you don’t have fassionola syrup on hand, you can make a quick version by blending passion fruit, strawberries, and sugar. This will bring a similar tropical sweetness to the drink.
