Ingredients
60 ml 2 fl oz Rye whiskey
30 ml 1 fl oz fresh lemon juice
15 ml 1/2 fl oz simple syrup
15 ml 1/2 fl oz blackberry liqueur
5 5 fresh blackberries
Club soda
Ices cubes

Old-fashioned glass
Instructions
- Place 5 fresh blackberries in a shaker and muddle them well.
- Add the whiskey, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and blackberry liqueur to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.
- Strain the mixture into an old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice, allowing some of the muddled blackberry to make its way into the glass.
- Top up with club soda for a light, fizzy finish.
- Garnish with a fresh blackberry and a lemon twist.
