Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz Vodka

  • 22.5 ml 2/3 fl oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Blackberry Simple Syrup

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Elderflower Liqueur

  • 8 8 Fresh Blackberries

  • Ice cubes

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Martini glass
  • Muddler
  • Fine mesh strainer

Instructions

  • In a shaker, muddle the fresh blackberries until they are well crushed and release their juice.
  • Pour in the vodka, lemon or lime juice, blackberry simple syrup, and elderflower liqueur.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker, then shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled glass, using a fine-mesh strainer to remove seeds and pulp.
  • Optionally, garnish with a few fresh blackberries on a cocktail pick.
