Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz tequila blanco

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz fresh lime juice

  • 120 ml 4 fl oz cola

  • 1 pinch 1 pinch salt

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Highball glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Jigger

Instructions

  • Lightly rub a lime wedge around the rim of the highball glass and dip it in salt if you want an extra kick.
  • Add a generous amount of ice cubes to your highball glass.
  • Pour blanco tequila over ice, squeeze in some fresh lime juice for a tangy touch, then top off with cola.
  • Stir the cocktail gently using a bar spoon to combine the ingredients.
  • For a more authentic taste, sprinkle a pinch of salt over the drink and give it one final stir.

Notes

  • Use Mexican Coca-Cola, made with cane sugar, for a more authentic flavor. It enhances the overall sweetness without being too cloying.
