Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz vodka

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz fresh lemon juice

  • 22.5 ml 1 fl oz lavender simple syrup

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz orange liqueur

  • Ice cubes

  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon sugar 

  • 1/2 tablespoon 1/2 tablespoon dried lavender

  • Lemon twist or fresh lavender sprig (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Rock glass

Instructions

  • Prepare your glass by running a lemon wedge around the rim and dipping it into the lavender sugar mixture. Set aside.
  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vodka, fresh lemon juice, lavender simple syrup, and orange liqueur to the shaker.
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  • Strain into your prepared rock glass to ensure no ice chips or lavender bits make it into the final drink.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist or lavender sprig.
