Ingredients

  • 60 ml 2 fl oz white rum

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz fresh lime juice

  • 30 ml 1 fl oz fresh mango purée

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz simple syrup

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Blender
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Coupe glass

Instructions

  • Peel a ripe mango and blend it until smooth to make the purée.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the white rum, lime juice, mango purée, and simple syrup.
  • Add a generous handful of ice cubes to the shaker.
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Optionally, garnish with a lime wheel or a slice of fresh mango.

Notes

  • If you prefer a frozen Mango Daiquiri, blend all ingredients with a cup of crushed ice instead of shaking them. This will give you a smooth, slushy texture that’s perfect for hot days.
