Ingredients

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz vodka

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz lychee liqueur

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz  fresh lychee juice

  • 10 ml 1/3 fl oz dry vermouth

  • Lychee fruit, for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Jigger
  • Martini glass

Instructions

  • Place your martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
  •  In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, lychee liqueur, lychee juice, and dry vermouth.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mix is well-chilled.
  • Remove the martini glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled glass.
  • Add a lychee fruit as a garnish, either floating it in the glass or skewering it on a cocktail stick across the rim.

Notes

  • For an added twist, consider infusing the vodka with lychee for a few days before making the cocktail to intensify the lychee flavor. Simply place peeled lychee fruit in vodka and let it sit for at least 24 hours.
