Instructions
- Thinly slice the jalapeño, removing seeds if you prefer a milder heat.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka or gin, dry vermouth, lime juice, jalapeño slices, and a small splash of simple syrup if you’d like to balance the spice with a touch of sweetness.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds. This will chill the drink and infuse the spicy flavors evenly.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled Martini glass, ensuring the jalapeño slices don’t pour into the glass unless you want an extra-spicy garnish.
