45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz gin
15 ml 1/2 fl oz applejack
15 ml 1/2 fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
10 ml 1/3 fl oz grenadine
1 1 egg white
Ice cubes

Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, applejack, lemon juice, grenadine, and egg white. Shake without ice to emulsify the egg white and create a frothy texture.
- Add a handful of ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture.
- Double strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass to achieve a smooth texture.
- A maraschino cherry or a twist of lemon peel can be used as garnish for a classic presentation.
Notes
- If you prefer a slightly lighter version, you can reduce the amount of gin or substitute applejack with a fruitier Calvados.
