Ingredients

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz Lillet Blanc

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz Dry Gin

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz elderflower liqueur

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice

  • 2 dashes 2 lemon bitters

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Jigger
  • Citrus juicer
  • Coupe glass

Instructions

  • Place your coupe in the freezer to chill.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the Lillet Blanc, gin, elderflower liqueur, grapefruit juice, and lemon bitters.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake for 10-15 seconds until the drink is well chilled.
  • Remove the glass from the freezer and strain the cocktail into the glass.
  • Add a grapefruit or lemon peel for garnish, if desired.

Notes

  • If you prefer a slightly sweeter drink, add a teaspoon of simple syrup before shaking. The extra sweetness can balance the grapefruit’s tartness.
