3 3 Fresh Strawberries
5 leaves 5 leaves Fresh Basil Leaves
60 ml 2 fl oz Bourbon
15 ml 1/2 fl oz Simple Syrup
15 ml 1/2 fl oz Fresh Lemon Juice
30 ml 1 fl oz Club Soda

Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh strawberries and basil leaves. Use a muddler to gently crush them, releasing their juices and aromas. Be careful not to over-muddle, as this could make the basil taste bitter.
- Pour in the bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
- Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, allowing the ingredients to mix and chill.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. If you prefer a lighter drink, top it off with a splash of club soda.
