Ingredients

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz cucumber vodka

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz fresh lime juice

  • 22.5 ml 3/4 fl oz simple syrup

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz yellow Chartreuse

  • 1 dash 1 dash cranberry bitters

  • Soda water, to top

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemon slice or cherry for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Highball glass
  • Bar spoon

Instructions

  • In your cocktail shaker, add the cucumber vodka, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, yellow Chartreuse, and a dash of cranberry bitters.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker, then shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Strain the mixture into a highball filled with ice.
  • Top off with a splash of soda water, and gently stir with a bar spoon to incorporate the soda without losing too much carbonation.
  • Optionally, garnish with a thin slice of cucumber or a twist of lime for added presentation.

Notes

  • If you prefer a more intense cucumber flavor, muddle a few cucumber slices in the shaker before adding the other ingredients.
