Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes until thickened. Cool completely before use. Prepare the Shot: Rim the shot glass with sanding sugar if desired. In a shaker filled with ice, combine vodka and Sweet Tart syrup. Shake well and strain into the prepared shot glass. Notes The syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to a month.
