Ingredients

  • 45 ml 1 1/2 fl oz vodka

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz Aperol

  • 20 ml 2/3 fl oz Saint Germain elderflower liqueur

  • 20 ml 2/3 fl oz freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit juice

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 15 ml 1/2 fl oz pasteurized egg white

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemon twist for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Coup glass

Instructions

  • Chill a coup or martini glass in the freezer while you prepare the cocktail.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, Aperol, Saint Germain elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, and pasteurized egg white.
  • Shake the mixture without ice for about 30 seconds to froth the egg white.
  • Add a handful of ice and shake vigorously for another 20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Double strain the mixture into the chilled coup or martini glass.
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding a bit of simple syrup if desired.
